NOLA to Indonesia: Learn to Live Photo Shoot

I had a great time helping out some good friends last week while shooting headshots for the website of their new organization, Learn to Live. The shots were taken in a nearby NOLA backyard making it easy to capture a great outdoorsy feel perfect for their upcoming mission to Indonesia.

Their first Indonesian health exchange is coming up soon, check out their site for more info. Wish I could travel with them in August, completely jealous.

Yes Im alive....and bouncin' apparently

So, yes its been a while. I've put blogging low on my list lately with so much else goin on.

However, had to share my excitement about 10th Ward Buck's, The Definition of Bounce: Between Ups and Downs in New Orleans, which is slated to finally come out this month.

There are several of my photos included in the 204-page hardcover book that presents a tour of the streets, clubs and collaborators that make up contemporary bounce culture.

I got a call from one of the publishers over at Garrett County Press over a year ago asking for photos after hearing that I covered 10th Ward Bucks show at Allways lounge. It was a strage and amazing show and Im thrilled that some of the images are being published to commemorate it.

Check it out on amazon, available on pre-sale now.
